Happy New Financial Year

For those of us in business, July the 1st seems to come around as quick as Christmas, birthdays and those family get togethers the you wish you didn't have to attend. And June! Well June just disappears in the blink of an eye. Much like that holiday where you had the best time of your life.

I have been crazy busy on the farm getting various things sorted, fed and paid. The new financial year on a dairy farm is a particularly stressful time as not only do we need to get bookwork done, but we also have to sign our 12 month milk contracts. This year, for our dairy business (Craiglands Holsteins) we switched milk processors for the first time in ever. Yep, that's right. We took the plunge after 95yrs and changed processors. So this has been HUGE for us. Mentally draining and emotionally challenging as we worked through income estimations from all other companies vying for our business.

So why am I telling you this? I want to explain why I have been quiet on here. I haven't meant to be, and I had every intention of being a lot more communicative to you on here. But you know...life!

I have also had some time to get to know and like (it's not love, yet) my sublimation printer. I was lucky to be gifted a mug press which adds to my product offering and I have been dabbling in a number of new vinyls which are really lovely.

Fathers Day is not that far away and I have some great gifts lined up for you that you will be interested in. One of them is a "Movie T.Shirt" which I made for my kids to give to my hubby last Fathers Day. This is great because it lists all the years of birth of all the kids in a humorous way. Great for those dads that love watching the movies. The other offering is mugs and I am able to customise a mug with whatever you would like on there. This option will be loaded onto the website over the next week.

Lastly, I want to make sure that you know that this business venture of mine is about helping YOU. I started this because I couldn't find what I needed at a price and amount that suited me. For instance, I have recently been working on some glasses for a upcoming wedding for the bridal party. These are etched (sandblasted) and will make lovely keepsakes. I have worked with a circus company that needed a new sign made up for their foyer. This was in black acrylic with vinyl decals. Lovely! I am currently working on a couple of one off t.shirts for clients - one for the birthday of a bloke who is rough on the outside but marshmallow on the inside. The quote on the t.shirt is very him and very funny. The other is for a teacher who wants to mark 100 days of prep.....and that her students have survived her for all this time!!
